Bushido’s Newest Sponsored Athlete – Hakeem Dawodu!

Bushido Martial Arts is incredibly proud to support athletes on their journey of martial arts training and professional sport. Athletes are tremendous role models for a lot of kids and youth, especially in the martial arts world where traits such as confidence and self-respect are key. We aim to support any athlete that lives up to these values and we are honored to provide equipment and gear towards their goal of achieving their personal dreams.

Hakeem Dawodu is no exception. Hakeem is a 26 year old mixed martial artist, who is  5’8″, 145 lbs, and is in the Featherweight Division. He hails from Calgary, AB and on November 11, 2017, he signed a four fight deal with UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).

On January 25th, he is heading to Ireland where he will be training with Conor McGregor’s trainer for upcoming fights throughout 2018.

Check out the CTV news clip below featuring Hakeem and his journey. The gloves that he is sporting are none other than the Drako 2KO Elite Boxing Gloves, sold here.
