Top Choice Awards is a research company that collects and reviews the opinions of thousands of customers annually. The results of those studies are used by companies to improve customer satisfaction and business development, while the social promotion system gives customers the power to enjoy awesome experiences by making educated purchase choices.
What:
Top Choice Awards surveys the general public and first-hand customers by telephone, email, mail, in person at community events, and on-line via its website and social media outlets to identify multiple nominees in the same category and city. Top Choice Awards does not employ any third-party companies to conduct a “secret” survey on our behalf. Throughout the year we receive thousands of nominations for businesses in different categories across 28 North American cities, which as you can imagine, takes us the whole year to process and qualify! The nominations undergo a qualification process. This way Top Choice Awards ensures that only the reputable businesses that have undergone our qualification process can be a Top Choice Award Nominee.
Once a business or professional has been nominated by the public within our survey, Top Choice Awards works diligently to ensure that they qualify to be an official nominee during the voting process. Top Choice Awards takes in depth measures to ensure those customers have had a real experience with the services or products of the business they have nominated to be the next Top Choice Award winner. The Qualification Process helps us ensure that only good-standing, reputable businesses are involved in the survey. In other words, we are here to verify that those who are nominated by the public are legitimate and worthy of such an award.
How:
The following is a list of requirements that each business will need to fulfill in order to become an official TCA Nominee:
Each Nominee must be in business for a minimum of 2 years
Each Nominee must conduct fair business practices
Each Nominee should have an acceptable clean and neat exterior and interior image location – what a business portrays to their “walk in” customers is fairly important.
Each Nominee is in need of an acceptable online image – websites should be easy to understand and navigate while still maintaining a pleasant image.
Each Nominee must have online reviews, with a minimum of 75% positive online business reviews and a maximum of 25% negative online business reviews.
Each Nominee must have one or more acceptable social media outlet presence (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, LinkedIn)
Each nominee must have a minimum of 25 nominations
Requirements may change depending on the industry of the business or professional. In some instances, Top Choice Awards will appoint an undercover consumer to review the business in person.
Why:
All studies are funded and owned by Top Choice Awards and solely based on customer opinions, which in turn, allows Top Choice Awards to become the voice of the people surveyed. After the results are published, nominees and winners may choose either or not to purchase the study. Full ownership to data collected during survey is critical to Top Choice Awards independence and unbiased position.
